The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) says it is reviewing the results of the 2026 governorship election across the 332 wards in the state before deciding on its next step.
The party said the election process does not end with the announcement of results, adding that aggrieved parties can seek legal redress through the election tribunal, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.
According to the APC, its lawyers will study the results and advise the party on the legal options available under the Electoral Act.
The party also called on its members and supporters to remain calm, avoid confrontation and continue with their normal activities.
The APC further appealed to the Nigeria Police Force to protect its members and supporters, while reaffirming its commitment to the rule of law, fairness and justice.
The party said the political process is not over until all available legal avenues have been exhausted.
