Royal houses in Igbajo town of Boluwaduro Local Government area of Osun State have commended the state governor, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke for the release of the long awaited white paper towards the solution of the Obaship tussle in the community.
Governor Adeleke was appreciated for upholding the truth and being courageous enough to come up with this report, lgbajo community shall be forever grateful especially the Omo Owas in Igbajo.
According to a press statement issued and and made available to newsmen by Prince Adewale Makinde for Onigemo, Prince Ojo Olaniyan for Fajite, Prince Adekanmi Alabi for Baba Owa, Prince Adeyeye Gbenga Akande for Loye Oke Odo, Prince Adeyinka Adeyemo for Omokan and Prince Kayode Esan for Aworoosun, they are appreciating Governor Adeleke for demonstrating, openness, maturity, love and for pursuing total peace among the communities in the state.
Recalls that the stool of igbajo in Boruwaduro local government became vacant after the demise of the late Oba Olufemi Fasade in December 2020.
Also, in November 2022, the outgoing administration of Adegboyega Oyetola appointed and presented a staff of office to Adegboyega Famodun, the then Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the new Owa of Igbajo land.
The royal houses also appreciated the State Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi, Speaker, Osun House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun, Commissioner of Commerce and Industry, Rev Bunmi Jenyo, Commissioner for Information, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi and other stakeholders who have contributed to the release of the white paper.
