The ancient town of Ilesa in
the State of Osun
was the host city of dignitaries, as Modupe Dorcas Falade one of the Nigeria
Peace Corps Officers, Osun State Command got married to his better half, Oluwafemi
Fasanmi.
Saturday 2nd of September would forever remain
memorable in the annals of history for both the Fasanmi family and Falade
family as their Children ; Modupe and Oluwafemi graduated from
spinsterhood and bachelorhood into the
realm of solemnization.
The engagement of the two love birds was held at Methodist
women Fellowship Event Field, Ilesa, Osun State on Saturday 2nd
September 2017 during which Fasanmi family came forward with the formal
proposal and items requested by the Falade family to have their daughter’s hand
in marriage.
The programme marking the solemnization of the holy
matrimony between Oluwafemi and Modupe held on
Saturday 2nd September, 2017 at Ilesa East Local Government,
Iyemogun road, Ilesa, Osun
State.
The Osun State Commandant of Nigeria Peace Corps (NPC),
Patriots Kayode Ayinde Paul, Ekiti State Commandant, Mattew Okotie, Osun Deputy State Commandant on Admin, Akande
Olawale, Osun Deputy State Commandant on Operation, Farominiyi Olaitan, Corps
Secretary, Osunkoya David and other Peace Corps Officers in Nigeria joined the
congregation who witnessed how Oluwafemi and Modupe were formally declared
husband and wife.
The entire congregation later retired to Methodist Women
Fellowship Event Field where a reception was held.
The atmosphere was frenzy, elation filled the air and the
joy of the new couple was best encapsulated in the way they danced into the
reception venue and acknowledged cheers and best wishes from their retinue of
friends, guests, admirers and well wishers.
