The officers and men of Peace Corps of Nigeria, Osun State Command apprehend some Students of Government Technical College, Osogbo, Osun State with dangerous arms when they invaded the premises of Osogbo grammar school and starting the violence.
The problem start around 3:15 pm on Tuesday when some students from Government Technical School, invaded the premises of Osogbo grammar School with arms and ammunitions.
When the Deputy State Commandant on General Duty, Patriot John Oluwadamilare Ayinde addressing the newsmen, expressed worry over the way some politicians are politicising the work of neighborhood watch which is one of the primary assignments of Nigerian Peace Corps.
He said In 2016, the students of ADS Osogbo in Osun State were caught by officer of Nigeria Peace Corps, Osun State Command with different types of deadly arms and ammunitions, like cutlass, axes, broken bottles, knives, charms etc
He said It should be noted that the present 85% peaceful atmosphere in Osun State public schools can only be credited to the activities and relentless efforts of the men and officers of NPC, Osun State Command.
After the students were apprehend by the officer of NPC they were taken to Dada Estate division of Nigerian Police Force, Osogbo for further investigation.
