Justice for All, a sociopolitical group has accused ex governor, Chief Bisi Akande, chairman of Egbe Igbimo Agba Osun, Elder Sola Akinwumi and the state chairman, All Progressive Congress (APC), Prince 'Gboyega Famodun of conniving with external forces in the party towards thwarting the desire of the people of the West Senatorial District to have the governorship ticket of APC zoned to the area.
According to a statement signed by the chairman of the group, Comrade Oludare Samuel, the group said it was surprised to see how the events of things are unfolding these days within the Osun APC.
The group expressed its disappointment on how power brokers in Osun ruling party have decided to look elsewhere for APC candidate for the coming September 22 election.
The statement reads in part, "We learnt authoritatively that Chief Akande has been bought over to do the bidding of these agents of destabilisation but we will like to remind Baba Akande that he is an home based politician, nobody will blame outsiders for the woes that is gradually gathering momentum to befall this great party.
"Is it because Elder Akinwumi is the chairman of Oodua Group of Company that is making him finding it difficult to come out bold and say the truth no matter how bitter it is?
"We are not unaware of series moves by Prince Gboyega Famoodun to ensure smooth sail for the plan to deny Osun West the gubernatorial ticket of APC and ensure that a legacy of succession that will serve only interest of certain people residing outside Osun is created.
"But we want to warn that any attempt to work against the interest of majority members of APC will be met with stronger force, because on West agenda we stand".
