The Speaker, Osun State House of Assembly, Dr. Najeem Folasayo Salaam has congratulated the winner of Ekiti governorship election, Dr. Kayode Fayemi on his victory, saying the journey to restoring the state back to the path of excellence has begun.
Dr. Salaam in statement signed by his spokesman, Mr. Goke Butika, praised the courage of the governor elect over the rigour of the electioneering campaign.
He said people of Ekiti have felt the negative impact of truncated governance and it would be thing of joy if the ship of poor governance, marginalization of s takeholders and suffering of workers can be redirected to a normal course that will guarantee greatest good for the greatest number.
Dr. Salaam further expressed confidence in the ability of Dr. Fayemi to hit the ground running, having governed state with integrity and industry on a high moral ground, saying Ekiti would be better off now.
