Hon. Gbenga Ogunkanmi, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ayedire state constituency, Osun State House of Assembly has assured his constituents that he would sponsor people oriented programmes, if emerged victorious.
Ogunkanmi, who is the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Rauf Aregbesola also promised effective and adequate representation.
He made the pledge in a statement he personally signed and made available to GTNews on Saturday in Osogbo.
The former Executive Secretary, Ayedire Local Government area said he would sponsor people oriented programmes and ensure that matters with positive impacts are pursued.
Ogunkanmi said : “My programmes will include youth development, community support and empowerment. I promise to attract quality and people-oriented programmes to my constituency.
“I will also ensure quality, effective and transparent representation of the constituency including the socio-economic and political life of the people
”
Ogunkanmi who disclosed that the collective interest and well being of the people would form the nucleus of his representation, said that he would not betray the confidence reposed in him by the people if given a chance to serve them.
Ogunkanmi added that his doors would always be open to receive suggestions and contributions from his constituents.
