The General Manager, Osun State Agricultural Development Corporation, OSSADEC, Mr John Kayode Olanipekun has highly commended the state governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola for his complete supports towards the preparation for the next year planting season.
The OSSADEC boss made this commendation in his congratulatory message to Governor Oyetola on the celebration of his one year in office which was made available to Journalists in Osogbo the state capital.
Olanipekun who described the governor as a God fearing and workaholic leader emphasized that, his contribution to the OSSADEC cannot be over emphasized towards tunning the state to a food basket of the nation.
The General Manager noted, "All the management team and staff of the OSSADEC congratulates Governor Oyetola on the celebration of his one year in office and we are appreciating him for the recent release of fund for the refurbishment of the corporations three bulldozers, Low-bed and tractors.
" Yes, our amiable governor must be commended for the construction of workshop stores for our tools, procurement of new spare parts for our tractors as well as proposed procurement of brand new tractors for the corporation which prompted the corporation to source and eventually secured 10,000ha of virgin farmland and above all, regular payment of staff salary".
Olanipekun enjoined the teeming farmers and entire people of the state to continue to demonstrate their unalloyed and unflinching supports to Governor Oyetola as he cannot do it alone.
The OSSADEC GM who assured that the Corporation is ready to support any genuine farmers in the state who comes their way admonished those who have collected loans not to relent in paying back as at when due for other farmers to benefit.
"We would not relent in supporting our farmers in all ramifications in order to have enough food in our state as Governor Oyetola has done well and he will continue to do more not only for the benefit of the farmers but the entire people of the state" the statement added.
