The speaker Osun State House of Assembly Honourable Timothy Owoeye wants religious bodies across lines to use their God-given platforms for spiritual growth rather than amassing wealth.
Owoeye gave the charge in his sermon at the sacred cherubim and seraphim church of Nigeria and overseas Idasa District church council headquarters Ilesa.
The Speaker Timothy Owoeye who doubles as the guest preacher took the advantage of the ordination/installation cum Thanksgiving service to remind the Christians to shun acts of conspiracy against clerics and individual.
He used gathering to urge the lead and the led to always ensure the efficacy of propagating the gospel of God saying doing this God's kingdom will continue to witness more expansion like never before.
Owoeye who borrowed from the holy scriptures of numbers and Romans to cement his sermon thereby sighted Moses as a case study of his message.
The Lawmaker representing Ilesa East state Constituency admonished the just installed Elder Apostle Michael Olatunji as Minister in charge/chairman Idasa District church council Ilesa to administer the God's vineyard with fair, honesty and God's spirit.
Owoeye similarly encouraged him to imbibe the spirit of perseverance,forgiveness and patience with Members and elders of the church just as he asked the congregation to identify topmost respect and humble for the Minister in charge, this he
underscored will allow God to operate in the church.
Thereafter was the installation and dedication ceremony of the newly elevated individuals in the church.
