The speaker Osun State House of Assembly Honourable Timothy Owoeye has described the passage of Akirun of Ikirun Oba Rauf Adedeji as monumental loss to the state and the nation at large.
Owoeye stated this while paying a condolence visit to the family of the departed monarch in ikirun.
He noted that Oba Adedeji was a progressive minded thought who had lived not only a faithful life but an impactful one through which he had written his name in gold.
Owoeye who later visited the palace of the ancient town condoned with the Akirun in council again reaffirmed that Oba Rauf Adedeji had made an indelible contributions towards the development of the town and the state as a whole.
He therefore prayed for the family,friends,chiefs,sons and daughters of ikirun left behind by the late Akinrun.
