The release issued by the Chief press secretary to state Governor Ismail Omipidan and made available to Journalists’ indicated that those carried out the organised attacks had been earlier seen with Abdulrasaq Salinsile before the purported attack.
“I have intelligence report that Abdulrasaq Salinsile, the former APC Secretary in the State, met with one of those that were alleged to have carried out today’s attack. I want to believe they are acting out a script already prepared by them.” He said.
“We want the concerned security agencies in the State to watch Adebiyi closely, as he appears to be up to something sinister” he noted
The release also described Elder Adelowo Adebiyi as a discredited fellow and should therefore not be taken seriously.
The release also described Elder Adelowo Adebiyi as a discredited fellow and should therefore not be taken seriously.
“Elder Adelowo Adebiyi is a serial liar and mischievous of highest order and he doesn’t fit to be a leader in a saner clime. “In law, if a witness bears false witness once, no testimony from such a fellow would ever be accepted. But in the case Adebiyi he has lied several times and this latest allegation is one of such lies”.
“My Principal is not a violent man and will never support any violence in whatever form. I strongly urge our former governor and current Interior minister, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, to disown Adebiyi before he rubbishes his good office.” He noted
“If by his admission, he is saying personnel of NSCDC had always provided security cover for them, on whose authority were they doing it then and who ordered their withdrawal today?” the release stated.
The release added “it would be recalled that during their kangaroo State Congress, held at Ogo Oluwa area of Osun state some weeks ago the same set of people lied that some political thugs attacked them, whereas it was pre-planned and to discredit this Government.”
It therefore urged the security operatives to monitor activities of the TOP leaderships in the state and not leave any chance to threaten and destroy peace being enjoy in the state because of some selfish element.
