The Lawmaker representing Ife south State Constituency in the State of Osun House of Assembly, Honourable (Engr) Olugbenga Benjamin Ogundipe has expressed shock over the transition of one of the foremost monarchs in his Constituency.
The Lawmaker popularly known as "De Ben" disclosed this in a press statement to commiserate and sympathize with indigenes and inhabitants of Olode as the Olu of Ayepe Olode; Oba David Olajide Omisore, Omigbade the 1st joined his ancestors at the aged of 90 years.
While extolling the many virtues of the late monarch, Honourable Ogundipe adjudged the transition of Oba David Olajide Omisore a colossal loss and a devastating event especially at this time, the lawmaker however took solace in what he called a life of dedication to the progress, development, growth and uplift of his people, his community, Ife south state Constituency and the state of Osun at large as lived by the late monarch.
recalled several noteworthy antecedents of the royal father left behind emphasized that "Baba"would be greatly missed, especially his fatherly counsels.
Honourable Olugbenga Ogundipe specifically commiserated with former Deputy Governor of the State who is also an APC leader in the state, Senator Christopher Iyiola Omisore on the passage of his father saying that the departed royal father did not only live a worthy and impactful life but also successfully engraved his name on the sand of time.
The Chairman House Committee on Environment and Sanitation also sympathized with the Olu Ayepe of Olode in council, queens left behind by the deceased monarch and other royal fathers in Ife South Constituency and its environ.
He prayed Almighty God to comfort the children, family, friends and the people of Ife-South as they mourn Oba David Olajide Omisore just as he prayed God to grant him eternal rest.
