The crisis rocking Ede town in Osun state takes another dimension as hoodlums over the night invaded the house of one of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) leader’s house, shot sporadically and later burnt his house to ashes.
Speaking with Our Correspondent, the victim, Olayiwola Wakil Adesiyan, said, “Around 12:30am tonight, some hoodlums came to my house, shot at me, but I was able to maneuver my way, as they burnt my house to ashes.”
Not a pin that remains in my house as I speak. They burnt everything. But I thank nothing happened to my family and myself.”
When contacted, the “B” police division in Ede south local government, the police head said they are aware of the attack and the police is seriously working on how to nip those involved in this dastardly act.
Recall a prospective corps member of the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Hassan Adedeji and a commercial motorcyclist were killed by unknown gunmen on Wednesday night leading to violent protest among students on Thursday in the town.
