The chairman, Osun State House of Assembly Committee on Health, Hon. Adenike Abioye has charged fun seekers and eateries in the spirit of celebrating the global annual event, the Valentine's Day, to as a matter of consolidating on the efforts of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola-led administration towards decimating the dreaded covid-19 pandemic by strictly abide by the lay down covid-19 protocols
Hon. Mrs Adenike Abioye gave the charge in a released issue to identify with Nigerians particularly inhabitants of the State on the occasion of annual global Valentine's Day.
She explained that though the annual event had over the years received universal attention due to the memorable and evergreen affection examplified by the Saint Valentine worthy of celebration,she therefore encouraged youths to celebrate the annual event with all sense of moderation, good conduct,fear of God and most importantly decency, nothing that Valentine's Day is all about the celebration of love and a lover who had exhibited unparalleled love.
The Chairman, Committee on Health is of the opinion that the celebration of occasion like this should be a platform for individual especially youths to rebuild their thoughts, engage in a school of self-examination and rededication as well as a season to reactivate their determinations towards having a prosperous future.
Hon. Abioye again re-emphasized the need for all and sundry to embrace the lay down covid-19 protocols in the mood of celebration and even beyond.
