The factional Chairman of the Osun Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Rasaq Salinsile has called on the Inspector General of Police , Alkali Baba to redeploy Osun State Commissioner of Police, CP Olawale Olokode out of the state.
Salinsile made this known on Saturday while addressing newsmen in Osogbo, he said CP Olokode is incapacitated in securing the life and properties of members of his APC led caucus The Osun Progressives (TOP).
He acused the Osun CP of neglecting several security alarms raised by the TOP saying up it today despite different petition nobody has been prosecuted.
According to the APC factional Chairman, “We had intelligence reports of the Gboyega Oyetola-led IleriOluwa faction’s plan to assassinate and main us, and we had promptly passed the information to the Commissioner of Police in particular and all other security agencies. But nothing was done about it till now.
When the Chairman of SUBEB, Ajibola Famurewa publicly unveiled this atrocious plan at an event in their campaign office some days back, we wrote the Commissioner of Police, Wale Olokode, and attached the compact disc CD containing his vulgar and criminal statements. Other security agencies were copied too. Nothing was done to investigate the allegations. From our findings, the letters were dropped off as usual.
“Oluwaseun Abosede’s was another show of shame for CP Olokode and his men. They told obvious lie to cover Governor Oyetola ‘s iniquitous gang from the criminal act they committed. It is rather shameful.
“Till now, no investigation has been carried out on the attack on Comrade Biyi Odunlade’s home in Ile-Ife. This is in spite of clear available evidence to authenticate the criminal invasion of his private home sponsored by Governor Oyetola led IleriOluwa’s gang.
Speaking on yesterday’s attack on the Oranmiyan House he said “We note that the environment in which Oranmiyan House exists is a business district as there are banks and other significant businesses there.
“The existence of a motor park in that environment is a security threat to the safety of people, businesses and property in that area. We call on concerned authorities to relocate the garage there. If Oranmiyan House is easily attacked the way it was, then other businesses are vulnerable to attacks.”
