A Magistrate Court sitting in Iree, Osun State,has ordered that two people be remanded at Ilesa Correctional Service for destroying the posters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate, Omooba Dotun Babayemi.
Waheed Okunola(aka Omo Ola)and Jimoh Azeez(aka Sake),were said to have been caught on Tuesday while destroying and vandalizing posters of Babayemi said to worth over #100,000(hundred thousand naira).
Okunola and Azeez were said to have been handed over to the Divisional Police Office where they were said to have admitted to committing the offence, prompting the Police to charge them to the Magistrate Court.
Accordingly,Magistrate Olugbenga Oladoke who frowned at the act as capable of breaching the peace of the area,ordered that they be remanded at Ilesa Correctional Service till Tuesday, 19th April,2022
