An historic week it was for members of Osun State House of Assembly as one of the bills passed into law,Osun New Towns and Growth Areas Development Authority Law has been assented to by governor Adegboyega Oyetola.
Recall that member representing Oriade state constituency, Honourable Desmond Ojo had sponsored a Private Bill tagged Osun New Towns and Growth Areas Development Authority bill.
The lawmakers in the course of the plenary took time to observe the variables and immediate benefits embedded in the assented bill. According to the cross section of lawmakers who spoke during the policy trust said the bill would propel and promote rapid growth across the state.
While speaking, majority leader of the House,Maruf Olarewaju observed that Osun New Towns and Growth Areas Development Authority bill would immensely open doors of opportunities for investors so much that the economy and IGR in the state will brace up like never before.
In his submission , the Chairman, House Committee on Land, Urban, Regional and Physical Planning, Honourable Babatunde Desmond Ojo explained that the bill will open scope of massive transformation in all ramifications.
The Speaker, Osun State House of Assembly, Honourable Timothy Owoeye commended Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for putting the interest of the citizenry in a pivotal vintage.
He expressed appreciation to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for assenting to Osun New Towns and Growth Areas Development Authority.
