The Elerinmo of Erinmo Kingdom in Oriade local government area of Osun State, Oba Odunayo Ajayi, Arowotawaya II, has reiterated his efforts to continue to bridge the poverty gap through the introduction of sound education and skill acquisition to the less privileged, stating that if the less privileged are not catered for by the few privileged, the society cannot be peaceful.
The Elerinmo made this call in his message to the people during the celebration of this year Agidanyin Founders Day Celebration held at the Elerinmo's Palace Foyer last Saturday.
Elerinmo in collaboration with Anne Gift Foundation, Oba Arowotawaya Foundation to support Erinmo women Gari producers cooperative with #2m was to commence exclusive use of the Gari processing factory built and launched during last year's Agidanyin Festival, as was done last year cash support and empowerment was given to disabled people in Erinmo as well as widows said he would not relent in bringing succour to the hopeless in his domain and society in general.
According to Oba Arowotawaya, giving succor to the less-privileged people in the society feel and giving them a sense of belonging informed his passion stressed that there was need for the society to help widows in the task of bringing up their children.
The Elerinmo congratulated all sons and daughters of the town for witnessing this year festival while urging them to always contribute to the upliftment of Erinmo.
According to Hon Sunday Amure of the Nigerian Youth Congress in his goodwill remark at the festival, he appreciated the Elerinmo and entire residents for hosting one of the best festivals in Nigeria known as "Agidanyin".
Hon Amure who demonstrated his happiness to be part of this year Agindanyin Festival said he was motivated with Oba Arowotawaya's donations for the less privilege, the widow, and the Loan for Gaari Industry which he said he really made his day.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Chairman, Agidanyin Festival Planning Committee who is also the Obaloro of Erinmo, Chief Taiwo Agbonmagbe described this year festival as well attended one saying people troop out in large number from far and near to witness the colourful event.
Chief Agbonmagbe congratulated Oba Arowotawaya and commended him for his usual support in transforming the entire Erinmo community saying his adequate efforts in developing Erinmo community above others cannot be over emphasised while calling all sons and daughters of the town to emulate the Monarch and join him.
Agidanyin festival is a traditional festival celebrated annually to remember the great progenitor of Erinmo who was Agidanyin the son of Obalufon Alayemore. Agidanyin was a great fearless warrior who participated actively in several wars especially the numerous inter-tribal wars at that time.
Highlights of this year festival includes, Anne Gift Foundation collaborates with Oba Arowotawaya to support Erinmo women Gari producers cooperative with #2m to commence exclusive use of the gari processing factory built and launched during last year's Agidanyin Festival, as was done last year cash support and empowerment was given to disabled people in Erinmo as well as widows, Slaughtering and consumption of a whole cow on the spot, Supported by Indomie noodles who cooked and served over 2000 people and Nigerian Breweries Plc as well as Comedy, Cultural Display and Obeisance while special prayers was said for the peace and progress of Erinmo community and Osun State.
Among the royal fathers in attendance with Oba Arowotawaya were, the Owa Oye of Imesi-Ile, Oba Enoch Ademila Akinyemi, Oyoyo II and Olobu of Ilobu, Oba Ashiru Olatoye Olaniyan while cream of politicians, friends associates and people from walks of life were also in attendance celebrating with him.
