According to him,Lagbaja was indeed a remarkable individual and the illustrious son of Ilobu who through his profession has done Ilobu, Osun and Nigeria as whole proud.

Honourable Olateju praised Lagbaja's unwavering dedication to ensuring peace and tranquility,demonstrating unmatched strength and energy in combating insurgencies. He also acknowledged Lagbaja's significant contributions to the Ilobu community, describing him as one of its pillars.
