Senator Lere Oyewumi, a seasoned administrator, turbaned with humility, christened with benevolence, and glorified for excellent service to FIRST CLASS CHIEF IN THE AKIRE IN COUNCIL.
The promotion was in recognition of his tremendous efforts towards the development of Ikire and the Osun West Senatorial District.
According to Oba Falabi's letter, "We have observed all your developmental activities around all constituencies of our 3rd Senatorial District in Osun State which It is the first of its kind in Osun State today.
"You have done us proud in your empowerment activities. God will reward you richly for all your good deeds. In appreciation of your exemplary work, we thought it fit to promote you from Second Class Chief to First Class Chief in the Akire in Council cabinet of Chiefs."
