Obokun Local Government Area came alive as Ambassador Dr. Olatunji Awodiran Leovest, CEO of Leovest Reassuring Hands Foundation, formally welcomed hundreds of former members of the now-defunct "Falo Babes" political group into his growing political movement.

This major realignment occurred just hours after the reported defection of Mr. Gbenga Falope, popularly known as Falo. The spirited and enthusiastic women, drawn from various wards across Obokun, declared their allegiance to Ambassador Leovest, citing his tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Obokun Local Government Area 

In their remarks, the group expressed deep admiration for Leovest's house-to-house campaign strategies and consistent use of personal resources to strengthen the PDP in Obokun. They described these as key motivators behind their decision to collapse their former structure in favor of his leadership.

According to them, Ambassador Leovest stepped in swiftly and compassionately after their former leader abandoned them, providing timely support that helped them regain their political relevance and dignity.

While receiving the group, Ambassador Dr. Olatunji Awodiran Leovest commended their courage, loyalty, and dedication to the PDP and Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration. He assured them that their decision to join his team is not only strategic but also signals a brighter future for Obokun PDP.
